Promotion of endeavors that are in the public interest and in particular serve the municipality of Herisau or larger or smaller circles of the population of this municipality; scientific, intellectual, cultural, social, charitable and sporting interests can be supported; individual persons who have fallen into need through no fault of their own or require educational assistance may also be considered, but not alcoholics or drug addicts; the foundation will primarily provide contributions, but it can also participate financially in other ways or take initiative on its own and carry out certain projects.
