Happy Children Stiftung

The foundation aims to support children's homes in Nepal owned by the locally based 'Happy Children Trust'. This trust is financially and organizationally supported by the tax-exempt German association 'Verein Happy Children e.V.' based in Lauchringen (D). The foundation represents the interests of these organizations in Switzerland. In the existing and potential future children's homes, the goal is to provide a dignified life for poor children in Nepalese society, such as street children, child laborers, and child slaves. The primary objective is to enable the children in the trust's children's homes to grow up with dignity and security, with compassion and love, and to become strong personalities. Through consistent primary education and subsequent vocational training, the young people should be able to open up future perspectives for a fulfilling, independent life. To fulfill its purpose, the foundation can cooperate with suitable institutions and organizations, support them, or establish its own. The foundation does not pursue commercial purposes, either directly or indirectly, and is not profit-driven. It does not pursue self-help purposes and is exclusively active for the public good.
