The foundation aims to research cardiovascular diseases and disseminate new findings in this field both domestically and internationally, particularly through the provision of research grants for experimental and clinical projects, the development of new therapeutic procedures, the promotion of education and training for professionals, the establishment and definition of standards in the field of medicine, the creation and maintenance of documentation, databases, archives, libraries, collections and exhibitions, the organization of contributions to events, the organization and attendance of congresses and courses, the announcement and awarding of prizes and competitions, the provision of publication contributions, and the making of investments in laboratory equipment and infrastructure.
