The foundation aims to be active in a non-profit manner in various respects, through: Supporting needy individuals, either once or repeatedly, who are of working age and facing financial difficulties. Providing training grants to individuals in secondary or further education - and in exceptional cases to individuals in initial training - when there are no parents or other guardians who can cover these costs. Providing loans for training, course attendance, but also for urgently needed purchases or, in individual cases, to increase the required capital for the acquisition of housing at an affordable price or at a moderate market value (no luxury properties). Maintaining the interest-free housing in the foundation's dedicated properties, namely at Murtenstrasse 221, 223 and 225 in Bern, and controlling moderate rents through the foundation board with corresponding instructions to the property management. The rental relationships are to be secured in the long term in this way, so that they can serve as affordable housing for tenants on the one hand and as a source of income for the foundation's funding projects on the other. The value of the properties is to be preserved through renovations or renovations. For any newly acquired land, the above restriction on rents does not apply. Supporting other non-profit and tax-exempt foundations or organizations that pursue purposes in the sense of promoting young people, but not providing services to foundations with their own broad-based fundraising. The foundation must remain non-profit in any case - even in the event of later changes to the statutes - and does not aim to make a profit. The foundation is only active in the canton of Bern. Only individuals, foundations and organizations domiciled in the canton of Bern may be supported.
