The company's purpose is to provide all services and activities in the field of transport, handling, management, and marketing of all waste and other materials, as well as all technical services related to the environment, respectively all services aimed at ensuring its protection. The company may, in particular, transport, collect, manage, acquire, sell, lease, import, and export all waste and other materials, as well as all types of related equipment. The company may also finance group companies and issue guarantees. The company may carry out financing operations, grant loans to third parties, to group companies, and to the direct or indirect shareholders of the company, and provide securities of any kind for its own commitments or for the commitments of the aforementioned companies to third parties, including pledges, security transfers, and guarantees, even if these loans or securities are exclusively in the interest of the aforementioned companies and are granted without the company receiving any remuneration in return. Furthermore, it may conclude cash pooling agreements with other group companies. The company may carry out, either for its own account or for the account of third parties, all financial, commercial, industrial, movable, and immovable operations (with the exception of operations prohibited by the Lex Koller), in Switzerland and abroad, directly or indirectly related to the main purpose, taking into account, to the extent permitted by law, within the framework of these operations, the interests and the general orientation of the group of companies to which the company belongs. It may also create branches and subsidiaries, in Switzerland and abroad. The company may also grant loans to its shareholders and/or declare itself jointly and severally liable for third parties, act as a guarantor, or provide security for loans granted to its shareholders.
