The foundation aims to provide support: a) for the general promotion of vocational and further training (production and retail) in the bakery, confectionery and confectionery industry, in particular to promote the training and further education measures of the Swiss Baker-Confectioner-Master Association (e.g. for competitions, promotion of young talent, etc.); b) as start-up assistance to young entrepreneurs in the bakery, confectionery and confectionery industry; c) in the event of illness, accident, disability, old age; d) to surviving, needy spouses, descendants and parents in the event of the death of SBC members. Support is generally granted to members of the SBC upon justified request. Applications must be submitted via the cantonal associations or sections of the SBC in accordance with the SBC statutes. When determining the support, the foundation board must take into account the personal circumstances of the applicant (or, in the case of lit. d), the deceased) and the duration of membership. There is no entitlement to support. The granting and amount of support is at the discretion of the foundation board. Support in the sense of lit. d) may only be granted once, at the latest one year after the death of the SBC member.
