The activities of HIS Switzerland include, in particular, the provision and further development of IT standards for the exchange of data and documents, the provision and further development of instruments and expertise for the management, implementation and monitoring of projects, the provision and further development of overviews or maps of digitalization activities, the promotion of alliances and the coordination between interest groups for the development, provision or operational safeguarding of IT solutions, the provision of consulting services for digital transformation, the conduct of public procurements, preparatory work of all kinds with a view to the initiation of a specific project by the responsible organization outside of HIS Switzerland, innovation management, and the maintenance of a service catalog.
