The purpose of the company is to provide transport, consulting, and other services in the field of transportation, as well as other activities that are directly or indirectly related to the company's purpose. The company may establish branches and subsidiaries both domestically and abroad and may participate in other companies both domestically and abroad. The company may acquire, encumber, hold, and dispose of intellectual property rights and real estate both domestically and abroad, with the exception of real estate transactions that are prohibited by the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Persons Abroad (BewG). The company may grant loans and other direct or indirect financings to affiliated companies and third parties, including their (direct and indirect) shareholders and their affiliated companies, and provide other financial assistance, in particular, provide securities or guarantees of any kind for the liabilities of these companies, including by way of pledges on or fiduciary transfers of the company's assets, whether for consideration or not. Furthermore, it may engage in liquidity equalization/concentration of net liquidity (cash pooling) with the aforementioned companies or join such an arrangement, including periodic account balancing (zero balancing), even without consideration, on preferential terms, without interest, excluding the company's profit-seeking nature, and assuming clustering risks.
