The association aims to promote social projects for disadvantaged people in Switzerland and abroad. Particular consideration is given to people who have lost their livelihood due to difficult external circumstances and are therefore threatened. The association provides help for self-help and emphasizes the preservation of independence, autonomy, and personal responsibility. The association aims to realize the following concerns: basic school education, seminars, and further education for children, young people, and adults, as well as training conferences that serve the livelihood security of disadvantaged people; offering premises for training and conferences; promoting sports activities; ensuring basic health needs or improving circumstances. The association helps all people regardless of race, religion, or origin. The institution does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes.
