ICT-Formation professionnelle de Suisse occidentale

The association manages a regional professional organization (OrTra) active in the cantons of Western Switzerland for information and communication technology (ICT) professions as defined by the Federal Act on Vocational Education and Training (LFPr) of December 13, 2002. The association aims to manage and develop initial vocational education and training and higher vocational education and training in accordance with the requirements of the economy and the public authorities, as well as in accordance with international standards. The association may assume tasks and create all conditions to ensure succession and a sufficient number of qualified ICT professionals in its region (for complete purpose see articles of association).
