The purpose of the foundation is to promote sustainable projects for the benefit of people, nature and the environment in Switzerland and throughout Europe in the markets of Helvetia Insurance. To fulfill the purpose of the foundation, contributions are mainly granted for the support of activities without commercial, (religious-) missionary and political background in the following areas: Area People, in particular projects: for the promotion of mental, emotional and physical abilities; for health prevention; for social or societal integration and the promotion of equal opportunities; for the promotion of children and young people, families and the older generation; for the promotion of intergenerational activities and contributions to better mutual understanding. Area Nature and Environment, in particular projects for: the promotion of nature conservation, natural habitats and raising awareness and promoting education in these areas; the preservation of protection forests and the promotion of sustainable forest management; the conservation and restoration of ecosystems, including their biological diversity (biodiversity); the purification of air, water and soil; raising awareness of human impact on nature and behavior towards nature; promoting the networking of ecologically valuable habitats. The foundation does not pursue any commercial purpose and does not strive for profit.
