IFFEE International Foundation for Education and Entrepreneurship

The foundation's purpose is: a) to support educational and vocational training and further education in developing countries; b) to support local entrepreneurs in developing countries through training, coaching and microfinance; c) to implement sustainable infrastructure projects in the areas of energy and water supply, health and social welfare in developing countries; d) to support cultural and social projects in Switzerland on a subsidiary basis. The foundation is active in Switzerland and in developing countries and may establish branches abroad to achieve its purpose. It may pursue its purpose through its own projects, such as building and operating schools, through direct grants to individuals or institutions, or indirectly through grants to other foundations or organizations with similar purposes. The foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes. Any profit from the foundation's activities is used to build up reserves and to further develop the foundation.
