The foundation aims to, within its means, search for individuals and institutions willing to donate used but functional or new laboratory equipment of all kinds, to accept free of charge decommissioned or new laboratory equipment of all kinds, to verify the functionality and, if necessary, repair the received laboratory equipment, to donate free of charge the verified and repaired laboratory equipment to needy laboratories in developing countries that conduct research aimed at improving the medical, nutritional or environmental supply of the local population, to train the recipients of the laboratory equipment in their use, maintenance and repair, and to facilitate contacts between scientists in laboratories in developing countries and elsewhere. The foundation may engage third parties for a fee to fulfill its purpose or entrust them with the execution of tasks required for this purpose.
