The association aims to promote sustainable economic practices in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Ecological, social and economic sustainability is oriented and defined according to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. Sustainability is understood as an opportunity to actively address ecological and social challenges, thereby positively influencing the future viability of companies and making a societal contribution to a better future. The association achieves its goals through the following activities: conducting research studies and creating and preparing analyses; making research findings and experiences accessible and mediating them; creating digital and analogue communication media; promoting know-how and knowledge exchange among interested stakeholders; initiating and accompanying projects in companies and organisations engaged in sustainability; advising owners, management, sustainability officers and other stakeholders; networking and promoting cooperation among participants; providing offers and activities to promote sustainable economic practices in companies and organisations.
