The cooperative, as a non-profit organization, aims to establish and finance community facilities and procure common media such as heat, electricity, water, telecommunications, etc. in the Holliger settlement, municipality of Bern (100% non-profit housing construction), to the extent that these are not created by third parties. It assumes the development obligations of the landowners and is a contractual partner of the municipality of Bern in this context. After the establishment of the community facilities, it is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and renewal of the community facilities and the organization of community life in the quarter. The cooperative can take all actions required by this purpose, in particular, develop building land and market it, acquire, build, rent, and sell properties. It can promote and operate community structures (e.g., self-consumption communities). The cooperative can establish branches, participate in other domestic companies, acquire or merge with similar or related companies, acquire or sell properties, securities, patents, and other intellectual property rights, and enter into all transactions and contracts that are suitable to promote the purpose of the cooperative or are directly or indirectly related to it.
