The purpose of the company is: (a) to establish, participate in any form, manage, supervise and finance subsidiaries, group companies and third parties; (b) to raise loans, borrowings and to procure funds, including the issuance of bonds, debentures or other securities, to invest in securities in the broadest sense of the word and to conclude agreements related to the aforementioned activities; (c) to grant guarantees, to bind the company and to pledge or otherwise encumber the company's assets for its own liabilities and for the liabilities of subsidiaries, group companies and third parties; (d) to acquire, sell, encumber, manage and operate registered property and assets in general; (e) to trade in currencies, securities and assets in general; (f) to exploit and trade in patents, trademarks, licenses, know-how, copyrights, databases and other intellectual property rights, to acquire and grant licenses, sub-licenses and similar rights, whatever they may be called and described, and if necessary to protect the rights from patents, other industrial and intellectual property rights, licenses, sub-licenses and similar rights from infringement by third parties; (g) to exercise all kinds of industrial, financial and commercial activities, including import, export, purchase, sale, distribution and marketing of products and raw materials, and to do everything that is connected with or conducive to this, in the broadest sense. In the exercise of its activities, the company is also guided by the interests of the legal entities and companies connected with it in a group.
