The Association aims to achieve the following: The comprehensive development of the discipline of Armwrestling worldwide; The promotion of the discipline of Armwrestling through all available communication and media channels; The representation of the interests of national member associations towards international and national government organizations, international sports organizations, including towards the International Olympic Committee and other related institutions; The implementation of uniform competition rules and safety standards for Armwrestling worldwide; Organization and conduct of the Armwrestling World Championship as well as national and continental qualifying championships; Creation of favorable conditions for the development of sports, training, and fair competition processes; Cooperation with international and national anti-doping agencies and government organizations. IFA may establish branches, sections, departments, and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad to fulfill its purpose and participate in other companies in Switzerland and abroad, as well as conduct all business directly or indirectly related to its purpose. IAF may acquire, encumber, sell, and manage real estate in Switzerland and abroad to fulfill its purpose. It may also provide financing for its own account or for the account of third parties, as well as provide guarantees and sureties for subsidiaries and third parties.
