The foundation does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes. The foundation aims to protect the poor worldwide from the violence of slavery, human trafficking, exploitation, and abuse, in accordance with and in expression of the principles of the Christian faith, by: a. building the capacities of local governments and law enforcement agencies to bring justice to the poor; b. taking a leading role in issues of human rights, violence against the poor, the rule of law, access to justice, and poverty reduction; c. training and mobilizing the global church to seek justice for the poor; d. training and mobilizing all people and institutions of good will to participate in the fight to end impunity and bring sustainable justice to the poor; and e. taking all legally permissible measures to promote the aforementioned purposes.
