The ISF is particularly responsible for and committed to: a) establishing and maintaining rules and standards for competitions, in accordance with the general principles described in the Statutes and Regulations; b) establishing and maintaining rules for international competitions and participation in such competitions, in accordance with the Regulations; c) deciding which international skyrunning competitions are officially recognized; d) granting licenses and contracts to members and other organizations requesting authorization to organize official international competitions and associated activities; e) promoting and controlling good sports practice; f) combating doping and all other processes and procedures that may undermine sports equality; applying the IOC Medical Code and anti-doping regulations; g) respecting the Olympic Charter and developing the sport towards a possible program status in the Olympic Games. All ISF activities are independent of any political or governmental influence. The ISF does not admit any discrimination for political, racial or religious reasons. The ISF promotes and supports gender equality in all its activities by all means.
