The purpose of the company is to acquire and permanently manage participations in companies and intellectual property of all kinds, as well as to finance them. The company can establish, participate in or merge with similar and related companies, and acquire, manage, encumber and sell real estate in Switzerland and abroad. The company is part of the Swiss Re Group and may consider the interests of the Swiss Re Group in pursuing its corporate purpose. In particular, the company may grant loans and other direct or indirect financing to its direct and indirect subsidiaries, other companies of the Swiss Re Group and third parties, including its direct and indirect shareholders and their direct and indirect subsidiaries, including within the framework of group-internal cash management activities, and provide collateral of all kinds for their liabilities, including by way of pledges or fiduciary transfers of the company's assets or guarantees of any kind, whether remunerated or not. The company may enter into all transactions and conclude contracts that are suitable to promote the purpose of the company or that are directly or indirectly related to it.
