The purpose of the company is the acquisition, holding, management, financing and disposal of participations of all kinds. The company is authorized to conduct all business that is directly or indirectly related to the company's purpose. The raising of external capital is prohibited. The company is entitled, but not obliged, to provide security for liabilities of subsidiaries. The raising of external capital is exceptionally permitted for the financing of the purchase price of companies, provided that the company has sufficient liquid assets for the financing of the purchase price, but cannot call them up in the short term. In this case, the company may raise external capital from banks up to the amount of open liquid assets until their maturity. The raised external capital must be fully covered by open liquid assets at all times and must be repaid no later than their maturity. The open liquid assets may be pledged for this purpose.
