The company's purpose is to manage a forestry business, including the trade, import and export of timber and derived products, as well as snow removal and general road maintenance services. The company is also authorized to acquire, encumber, manage, administer and sell real estate, as well as to participate in real estate companies and enterprises; however, real estate in Switzerland or participations in real estate companies and enterprises with real estate in Switzerland may only be acquired (without LAFE approval procedure) if the properties are intended for the exercise of an economic activity in accordance with Art. 2 para. 2 lit. a) LAFE. The company may establish branches and subsidiaries, acquire interests and participations in other companies, both in Switzerland and abroad, as well as engage in all commercial, financial or other activities that are directly or indirectly related to the company's purpose.
