The association aims to bear witness to the name, word and sovereignty of the almighty God JEHOVAH, as well as to the gospel of God's kingdom under the rule of Jesus Christ (Psalm 83:18; Isaiah 43:10-12; Matthew 24:14; 28:19, 20). To this end, it provides biblical education for training in righteousness through the conduct of schools and public worship gatherings, so that man may be fully equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16, 17; Hebrews 10:23-25). It supports the members of the religious community in proclaiming the word of God, particularly through the production, import, export and distribution of Bibles and literature, audio and video recordings and other publications that explain the Bible in printed and any other form. It uses every form of communication and broadcasting, electronic or otherwise, to spread the good news of God's kingdom. Jehovah's Witnesses place great emphasis on conveying values that emphasize social responsibility as a Christian's life task, as well as ethical values such as honesty, consideration, respect for public property and the property of others, non-violence and tolerance towards those who think differently. In doing so, Jehovah's Witnesses contribute to reducing social problems such as crime, xenophobia, addictions (drug addiction, alcoholism, smoking) and vandalism. Furthermore, important virtues such as diligence and providing for oneself and others through one's own work, or values such as marital fidelity and parental responsibility for promoting the well-being of children, are conveyed. Jehovah's Witnesses advocate for these values by distributing Bibles and Bible-explaining publications and conducting personal conversations as part of their Christian missionary work. The association provides information materials produced on a voluntary basis free of charge in printed and all other forms (e.g. magazines, books, audio and video recordings) on contemporary topics. To make God's love and comfort known to people for his glorification (2 Corinthians 9:13; 1 Peter 2:12), the association can provide material and spiritual assistance to victims of disasters and those in need in Switzerland and elsewhere, in fulfillment of the Christian commandment of love for one's neighbor and the commission to do good to all, especially to those who are related to us in faith (Galatians 6:10; Romans 15:26). The association can receive and provide financial, material and spiritual assistance from and to organizations of Jehovah's Witnesses cooperating with it, in Switzerland and elsewhere. The association can receive, send and equip missionaries for assignments abroad. The association pursues cultural purposes and does not aim to make a material profit, and its activities are carried out without any intention of making a profit. All revenues and assets of the association are used exclusively for statutory purposes in Switzerland and abroad.
