The foundation is a non-profit organization. It aims to provide, without geographical limitation, material humanitarian aid to hospitals or schools that lack the necessary means to fulfill their mission and function. The foundation's purpose is to collect, store and distribute humanitarian donations such as second-hand medical, hospital or school equipment. To this end, the Foundation organizes public awareness campaigns and authorities to raise funds for the financing of specific support programs that it implements on the ground, either autonomously or with partners of its choice, such as the Orders of Saint John recognized as such, under the aegis of the Eight-Pointed Cross or with the other chivalric order recognized by the Holy See, the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. The foundation may sign all acts, conclude all contracts and, in general, carry out all activities directly or indirectly related to its purpose or which are likely to favor their realization. The foundation acts in close liaison with the AHOM and the CSSJ, in harmony with the national associations of the Order of Malta and the Order of Saint John, as well as with the Embassies of the Order of Malta. Voluntary work is an essential component of the Foundation's activity.
