1. The specificity of the association is that it operates within a framework that prioritizes the inhabitants of Lebanon in the valley, countryside, and mountains. It is part of a rural and sustainable development based on the Swiss and Valaisan model. 2. The KLS intends to develop the following: a) ecological and communal projects; b) support for farmers and agricultural workers; c) multifaceted assistance to the forgotten, those without a voice, the unsupported, the poorest, the most vulnerable, and the most fragile. 3. Strengthening relationships between former and current Lebanese students at Swiss schools and universities and offering them scholarships. 4. Creating workshop opportunities for leaders in Lebanon. 5. Promoting dialogue, cultural encounters, professional exchange, and know-how between Switzerland and Lebanon. 6. Collaborating with civil authorities: municipalities, local associations, organizations, partners, and governments in case of crises and disasters. 7. Planning, organizing, participating in, and financing artistic, sporting, socio-cultural, and ecological events, as well as colloquia, conferences, excursions, evenings, concerts, and festivals in Switzerland and Valais.
