Its purpose is to promote the economic interests of its affiliated milk producers through cooperative self-help by: a) the most advantageous and rational processing of milk or its sale, as well as the creation of the necessary physical and technical prerequisites or participation in corresponding special-purpose companies; b) the general promotion of the dairy industry and support for measures to improve the quality of milk and dairy products, as well as participation in efforts and events of related organizations, insofar as these are in the interest of the entire dairy industry; it may also acquire and sell real estate and establish branch offices; and the promotion of the professional knowledge of its members.
