The foundation's assets are intended to provide contributions to the beneficiaries designated below to support them in cases of need and illness, as well as to cover the costs of: education, in particular general, vocational, artistic and physical training; equipment, in particular with a dowry or for the purchase or participation in a business or the establishment of a freelance practice; support, in particular the maintenance of a middle-class lifestyle, if this is temporarily or permanently jeopardized due to economic losses; healing and recovery, in particular during longer hospital, spa and other recreational stays, if the beneficiaries are not able to pay the costs resulting from these recreational stays without compromising their previous lifestyle using their own means. The beneficiaries of the foundation are the grandchildren of Karl Kahane, born on 5.3.1920, i.e. the children of Patricia, Emil Alexander and Marie-Rose Kahane and their descendants. Furthermore, the spouses of beneficiaries living in an undivided marriage are also beneficiaries of the foundation, and in the event of their widowhood, as long as they do not remarry.
