Provision of services, manufacture of products and research in the field of animal health, in particular the manufacture, trade, development and marketing of products and solutions for the prevention, control and treatment of diseases in domestic and farm animals. The company may establish subsidiaries and branches in Switzerland and abroad and acquire participations in other companies in Switzerland and abroad. It may acquire, hold and dispose of real estate and intellectual property rights. It may also carry out all commercial and financial activities and any other type of activity directly or indirectly related to its purposes. It is authorized to take financing, restructuring and intercession measures in the interest of shareholders, group companies or third parties, and to grant loans or securities to shareholders, group companies or third parties to enable them to fulfill their obligations. The company may not acquire real estate that is not permanent establishments within the meaning of Art. 2, para. 2, let. a, LFAIE, nor participate in legal entities within the meaning of Art. 4, para. 1, let. e, LFAIE.
