The purpose of the association is to promote animal health and complementary medicine by increasing the competence and self-responsibility of animal owners, primarily livestock owners, and thereby reducing the use of antibiotics and direct health costs. To this end, a consulting office is established and operated, staffed by competent professionals. The use of the consulting office is subject to a fee. The consulting office includes the following objectives: Supporting animal owners, primarily livestock owners, in the application of complementary medical methods; Promoting the competence and self-responsibility of animal owners in the application of complementary medical methods to ensure and improve animal health and thereby reduce the use of antibiotics and direct health costs; Promoting cooperation on projects in the service of animal health with partners in veterinary medicine and livestock production, as well as with public institutions, education, and research; Providing a professionally competent advisory team with experts who have recognized training in complementary medicine and are contractually integrated into the consulting office. The association can support the marketability of products from antibiotic-free origin in cooperation with organizations and companies through suitable measures.
