The Kreativschaft has the ideal and non-profit purpose of promoting and supporting screenwriters, producers and filmmakers, as well as cultural organizations and institutions throughout Switzerland. The Kreativschaft maintains awareness of the indispensable importance of Swiss screenwriting culture. The Kreativschaft promotes the exchange of information and networking among local filmmakers. The Kreativschaft initiates and supports projects, events and seminars in the public sphere that correspond to the association's purpose. The Kreativschaft can act as a producer of audiovisual works, theater performances, as well as an organizer and/or partner of events and producers, provided that it pursues commercial purposes or does not generate profits. The Kreativschaft can also initiate further activities serving the purpose or participate in other organizations with similar goals and purposes.
