The Company's purpose is the design, manufacture, purchase and marketing of computer products, in particular printers of all types, computer programs, as well as related products and services. To this end, the Company may acquire, operate and dispose of invention patents, trademarks and all technical and industrial knowledge, as well as any industrial property rights; participate in industrial and commercial enterprises, establish branches or found subsidiaries, whether in Switzerland or abroad. It may also participate in all commercial, financial or industrial operations that are directly or indirectly related to its purpose or promote its development. The Company may also carry out all activities that are directly or indirectly related to the above-mentioned purpose. The Company may grant direct or indirect financing to its direct or indirect subsidiaries as well as to third parties, including its direct or indirect associates and their direct or indirect subsidiaries, for its own commitments as well as for those of other companies (including direct or indirect associates of the Company or companies in which these associates hold a direct or indirect participation), issue securities of any kind, including by way of pledges, fiduciary transfers or fiduciary assignments on the Company's assets, issue guarantees, provide guarantees or otherwise guarantee or secure the Company's or its other companies' obligations, with or without remuneration. Furthermore, it may operate or associate with the companies mentioned above in cash pooling/centralization of net liquidity, including periodic balance adjustments. The Company may also do all this without consideration, on preferential terms, without interest, excluding the Company's profit motive and incurring a concentration of risks.
