The association promotes the union of all organizations that ensure the operation and maintenance of cross-country ski trails or cross-country ski centers. Promotes healthy and attractive cross-country skiing as a meaningful leisure activity for all population groups and at all ages. Supports performance and top-level sports. Promotes and coordinates the activities of its member organizations. Promotes and supports measures for safety and health in cross-country skiing. Respects nature and the environment. Promotes the dissemination of sport-ethical ideas. The association is politically and denominationally neutral.
