The Association aims to contribute to improving the safety of people, animals, and property against the dangers posed by thunderstorm formations and the natural events that result from them, through risk prevention actions. Thanks to the expertise of its members, the Association offers a systemic approach to these dangers through analyses, innovative services, and solutions designed to inform and protect the population, workers, animals, equipment, and infrastructure against the risks resulting from thunderstorm phenomena. The Association considers it important to detect storm-related risks as early as possible in the different phases of their life cycle. A) Raise public awareness about the risks associated with thunderstorm phenomena and their consequences. B) Respond to the needs and expectations related to the risks inherent in atmospheric discharges. C) Promote exchanges and sharing of knowledge and experiences in the field. D) Contribute to improving knowledge, particularly through training, the creation of workshops, and prevention solutions. E) Collaborate with public authorities in the prevention and securing of public places and outdoor events. F) Participate in the training of security personnel in the field. G) Promote a global systemic approach to storms by encouraging cross-cutting actions.
