The purpose of the foundation is to promote and realize cross-border and interdisciplinary projects in the following areas: promoting art and culture, in particular media arts, visual arts, photography and video, literature, music, theater, architecture and design in Switzerland and abroad; promoting and enforcing human rights in Switzerland and abroad; promoting environmental protection in Switzerland and abroad; promoting education and training in Switzerland and abroad. In pursuit of its purpose, the foundation may provide support to natural or legal persons or to programs and projects that promote the aforementioned areas. The foundation may collect, process, use, exhibit and lend documentation on the projects it supports. The foundation may acquire and sell works of art. The foundation may take any measures that can contribute to achieving its purpose. The foundation does not pursue commercial purposes and does not strive for profit.
