The foundation aims to support needy and disadvantaged people in the Dominican Republic. In addition to direct aid to families, children and orphans, assistance for self-help is to be provided to adults wherever possible. Therefore, projects that enable those affected to free themselves from poverty in the long term and lead an independent life are in the foreground. Support is provided in particular through support for building houses and schools, as well as direct emergency aid (distribution of food, clothing, tools, payment of school fees, etc.); the establishment and operation of homes for orphans and street children; the establishment and operation of educational and health facilities (kindergartens, schools, workshops, health stations, etc.); and the support of projects that aim to free people from poverty and economic dependence in the long term. The foundation's activities include the following areas: support for orphans and street children, strengthening of socially weak families (e.g. through community canteens), enabling children from poor families to attend school by paying school fees, distribution of livestock to needy families, vocational training for school leavers, construction of school buildings, and support for health projects.
