The foundation generally aims to promote animal welfare. It supports projects that serve to protect animals and their habitats, as well as their well-being. The foundation promotes institutions where animals can be taken in, cared for, and placed in suitable environments. In particular, the foundation's purpose includes supporting animal shelters, supporting retirement homes for animals, supporting guide dog services, promoting the relationship between humans and animals, animal-assisted therapy, training and maintenance of dogs and horses for therapeutic purposes. The foundation's area of activity covers the entire territory of Switzerland. The foundation can make contributions to other foundations and organizations that are dedicated to the aforementioned purpose or are active in these areas. The foundation has a non-profit character, is not profit-oriented, and does not pursue commercial goals.
