The foundation is committed to projects with ecological and social impact in Switzerland and internationally, and aims to strengthen and promote sustainable development, improve the living conditions of disadvantaged population groups, and support people in need, particularly in humanitarian emergencies and as a result of environmental disasters, with the goal of creating a world in which biodiversity and human societies thrive together. Its activities focus on two key areas: A. Protection, preservation and restoration of ecosystems; protection, preservation and restoration of flora and fauna; development and promotion of new, environmentally friendly energy sources; and raising awareness of environmental issues and promoting sustainable thinking and action through training, education and communication. B. Support for people with physical and/or mental disabilities; support for children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and other population groups living in social exclusion; combating the effects of aging and improving the mental and physical health of older people; supporting disadvantaged people in fully participating in social and economic life; and supporting people in need, particularly in humanitarian emergencies and as a result of environmental disasters. By promoting and supporting sustainable and innovative activities, the foundation aims to strengthen the preservation of natural resources and promote social justice for today's and future generations. The foundation is exclusively engaged in non-profit activities; it does not pursue a commercial purpose and does not aim to make a profit.
