The foundation primarily aims to support farmers and farm women in Switzerland who live in tight financial circumstances through contributions in emergency situations and for their sustainable livelihood security in exceptional circumstances, as well as financially weak Swiss mountain communities. Furthermore, it can provide contributions to projects that, in the sense of 'help for self-help', contribute to securing and improving the living conditions and existential foundations of the population in peripheral and mountain regions. The foundation can provide contributions in the sense of the foundation's purpose to individuals, families, and communities throughout Switzerland and to corresponding projects of municipalities and third-party organizations in economically weak peripheral and mountain regions. The foundation does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes.
