The association exclusively pursues public benefit purposes, namely: the implementation of projects in favour of socially disadvantaged people and the fight against poverty and violence; disaster relief; the placement of volunteers and civil servants for foreign and domestic assignments; the accommodation, support and assistance of asylum seekers and the implementation of training and employment projects; the support and assistance of recognised asylum seekers; the implementation of integration projects; contributing to reconciliation efforts in conflict situations; and promoting peace, justice and dignity for all human beings, in accordance with the commandment of Jesus Christ. In terms of international cooperation, the association is committed to humanitarian aid for disaster-stricken regions, reconstruction and development projects. The aim of each development project is to combat poverty and hunger and thus contribute to the sustainable improvement of living conditions for humanity. Social policy engagement is also one of the association's essential tasks. Thus, it commits itself and publicly expresses its aspirations in the areas of social policy, peace, migration and development.
