The foundation aims to support, finance, initiate, plan and carry out philanthropic works and activities of public interest in the fields of education, public health, medicine, welfare, environment, scientific research, culture and religion. It focuses on non-profit projects with an Israeli connection, regardless of ethnic and religious affiliation. The foundation refrains from any form of political engagement or politically motivated activities, including with foreign affiliated foundations. Within the framework of its purpose, the foundation is active in Switzerland and abroad, particularly in Israel, where it will carry out its works and activities through or in cooperation with the Merit Spread Foundation Ltd (CC), Israel. The foundation can conduct all business and take all measures that are suitable to promote or facilitate the fulfillment of the foundation's purpose. The foundation can achieve its objectives itself, in cooperation with other philanthropic institutions and organizations, or it can commission them and, for this purpose, grant subsidies and donations or serve as an operational umbrella for works and activities that fall within the scope of the foundation's purpose. The foundation can merge with other foundations if a merger is substantively justified and serves to secure and fulfill the foundation's purpose. The foundation can acquire, hold and manage an investment portfolio of various asset classes for financing purposes. The assets as well as any income from investments and operations may only be used to fulfill the foundation's purpose. The foundation has a non-profit character, no commercial purpose and does not seek profit. The foundation does not support economic activities, not even in connection with foreign affiliated foundations.
