The cooperative aims to promote the economic interests of its affiliated milk producers through cooperative self-help by: bundling milk in the most advantageous way for the production of Gruyère and its sale; promoting the dairy industry in general and supporting measures to improve the quality of milk and dairy products, as well as participating in efforts and events of related organizations, insofar as they are in the interest of the entire dairy industry; it can also acquire and sell real estate; and promoting the professional knowledge of its members.
