The association is born from the cultural premise that the denial of death (and its reduction to a merely health-related fact) determines a distortion of life itself as an opportunity for knowledge, growth, and sharing. The association therefore aims to raise awareness about the theme of death and dying, understood also as an existential discontinuity that implies a confrontation with pain, grief (in the broad sense), and the transformation of one's psychological and relational structure. For the association, intervening in the culture of death, moving away from its denial, means actively contributing to co-creating a New Humanity. This corresponds to promoting a culture of living and dying as an opportunity for human and civil growth of the entire community. The goal is achieved through specific purposes: promoting the spread of dialogue on the theme of living and dying, through the production of culture, publications, and intervention in the mass media. Organizing events for initial awareness to create opportunities for meeting, exchange, and sharing. Offering courses, training, and tools to enhance people's listening and relational skills. Intervening with public and private entities to promote the development of innovative psycho-social projects. Promoting and disseminating cultural projects of individuals or organizations through project collaboration, marketing, and fundraising in order to create common value and economic sustainability. Participating in other similar associations in Switzerland and abroad with comparable goals.
