The foundation aims to support the poorest people in their well-being, freedom and independence, and to sustainably preserve and promote natural resources and livelihoods. To this end, the foundation uses its resources for the following purposes: a) for microcredits to women in the third world, b) for the promotion of ethical, ecological, social and genetically modified-free agricultural projects, in the sense of a sustainable agricultural and food economy, specifically without genetically modified seeds. To fulfill these purposes, the foundation can provide financial support directly to affected individuals or indirectly through recognized organizations/institutions that are active in the aforementioned areas of purpose (also in the area of microcredits to recognized investment funds). The foundation can also initiate and lead its own projects or promote projects by third parties through financial support or in collaboration with other recognized foundations or organizations/partners (private, corporations, research institutes, public authorities) that are active in the aforementioned areas of purpose. The foundation is active in Switzerland and internationally within the framework of its purpose and is politically neutral. The foundation can employ personnel, hold real estate (ownership, building and usage rights) and other assets, encumber, participate in, acquire and dispose of them, and perform all activities that are suitable for achieving the foundation's purpose. The foundation can, in particular, create infrastructure and acquire suitable facilities for the purpose of sustainable agriculture and food economy. It can also rent or lease production means to suitable individuals or organizations.
