The Company's purpose is to raise funds on the capital markets in order to finance, directly and/or indirectly, other companies or entities within the group to which it belongs, in particular through loans, facilities or guarantees, or other forms of financial assistance, as well as through the purchase, subscription or acquisition in any other manner of shares, bonds or other securities of any kind. The Company's purpose is also to borrow, invest or otherwise manage funds in Swiss francs, foreign currencies or precious metals, as well as to buy, sell or trade in any manner interest-bearing instruments in Swiss francs or foreign currencies. However, the Company will not publicly accept funds from third parties, except in the context of issuing existing instruments on the capital markets such as bonds, commercial paper, etc. The Company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad, as well as participate in other companies in Switzerland and abroad. The Company may acquire, hold, manage, pledge, develop and alienate real estate and intellectual property rights in Switzerland and abroad, as well as finance other companies, with the exception of operations prohibited by the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Persons Abroad (LFAIE). The Company may grant loans, secured or unsecured, or provide guarantees or collateral to shareholders, direct or indirect subsidiaries, parent or sister companies or third parties. Furthermore, it may operate or participate in cash pooling/centralized cash management, including periodic balance adjustments, with companies within the group to which it belongs. The Company may also do all of this without consideration, on preferential terms, without interest or other remuneration, excluding the Company's profit motive and incurring a concentration of risks. The Company may engage in all commercial, financial and other activities suitable to promote its purpose or related to it, taking into account, to the extent permitted by law, the interests and general orientation of the group to which it belongs.
