The association aims to continuously improve and promote poker sports nationwide, taking into account the internationally connecting, educational, cultural and humanitarian significance of poker sports, and specifically through: promoting poker sports through youth and development programs; organizing its own competitions; issuing and enforcing regulations and provisions to regulate poker sports and related aspects; controlling poker sports in all its forms by taking all necessary measures to prevent violations of the SPSA's statutes, regulations and decisions, as well as the rules of the game; ensuring that poker sports are accessible and funded for all who want to participate, regardless of gender or age; promoting integrity, ethics and fairness, and preventing methods or practices such as corruption, side games, doping or game manipulation that could jeopardize the integrity of games, competitions, players, officials and clubs or lead to abuses of poker sports; developing poker sports offers as a modern leisure activity; promoting poker as a sport, fostering talented and performance-oriented poker players; organizing a modern and varied game operation. The association is open to new developments and aligns its actions with the current conditions and needs of society. The association is committed to a positive and modern image of poker sports, poker clubs and poker players in the public eye.
