The foundation is established exclusively for public, religious, educational and scientific purposes. Within the framework of the above provisions, the purpose of the foundation includes, but is not limited to, a) promoting the Roman Catholic religion as it has been traditionally handed down in the Catholic Church, and contributing to the maintenance of its institutions and activities, such as traditional churches and chapels, seminaries, schools and universities, publications, Caritas, rites and clergy. b) Supporting and promoting research in the humanities and research institutions, particularly in the field of history, and primarily for the study of the leadership classes of the 14th to 19th centuries and individuals in their social relationships, combining biography, genealogy, prosopography and social and dominion history. Furthermore, the foundation may also support and financially assist other non-profit, religious, educational and scientific institutions and projects, provided that their respective purposes do not conflict with and are compatible with the purpose described above. The foundation is authorized to perform all acts and take all measures necessary, useful or appropriate for the pursuit of the foundation's purpose as set forth above, either alone or in conjunction with other legal entities, companies or natural persons. It is also authorized to perform all other legal acts or take other measures that are connected with or result from the above purposes and powers, or parts thereof, subject to their compatibility with the law applicable to the foundation or the relevant legal acts.
