The company's purpose is to operate the Obermatt/Arni power plant facilities based on the concession granted by the Government Council of the Canton of Obwalden on April 19, 1960, to utilize the water power of the Engelberg-Aa on the Engelberg-Obermatt and Arni and Trübbach power plants in Obermatt for the purpose of generating and marketing electrical energy. It can enter into all transactions and conclude contracts that are suitable to promote the purpose of the company. This includes the acquisition, management and disposal of real estate. Furthermore, it can establish branch offices in the country.
