The purpose of the foundation is to support and promote existing or new projects, institutions and other activities, in particular in the fields of music, art, culture, education, sports and medicine. The foundation shall enable or facilitate access to education, music, art, culture, sports and medicine (medical care) through suitable promotional activities of all kinds or in other ways, so that these areas are made accessible to a broad population. The foundation is active in Switzerland and abroad. The canton of Glarus, as the canton of domicile (including adjacent regions), shall be given priority in the allocation of funds for domestic foundation activities. If it facilitates or requires the fulfillment of its purpose, the foundation may also acquire and sell real estate within the scope of its purpose.
