The promotion of its members' interests in Switzerland in the areas of sustainable development and the stimulation of economic progress, social justice, environmental and climate protection, as well as the mobilization of resources in Switzerland to promote the development of low-income regions of the world. The financial resources come mainly from the member churches of the World Council of Churches and others that support sustainable development as a liberating process through economic progress, social justice, independence, and environmental and climate protection.
