The association has the following objectives: 1. Surgical missions: to organize humanitarian missions by sending a complete Swiss surgical team (surgeon, surgical nurse, anesthesiologist, nurse anesthetist, nurse) to Cape Verde to provide medical and surgical care. 2. Training of local staff: to train medical and paramedical personnel in Cape Verde, particularly surgeons, surgical nurses and caregivers, in order to strengthen local skills and improve patient care. 3. Prevention of infections: to raise awareness and train healthcare professionals on the importance of hygiene practices and infection prevention, based on the expertise of Swiss professionals. 4. Training in hygiene: to offer training sessions on hygiene standards and care protocols in order to improve patient safety and the quality of healthcare services provided. 5. Sharing strategies: to work in synergy with local health units to share effective strategies for patient safety, infection control, prevention and risk management, taking into account local realities.
